Bass is a robot master created that accompianed Mega Man through his time travel adventures in Mega Man #20. He will appear in the Mega Man crossover. He was also mentioned in Sonic Universe #50 by Eggman talking about how he wants Metal to meet a real BASE villian.
He is introduced in the crossover by being at Metal Sonic's side in capturing Tails.
